I am looking for a band that fits my style of singing. I like to spend time with a song alone to get a feel for how I want to plan the melodies. Most bands I have been in will record songs for me to give me a foundation to build the lyrics on. Then we would figure out collectively what is working, what needed tweaking and what we needed sh*t-canned. My favorite shows have been acoustic sets. I like musicians that like to hear a reasonable mix of every instrument. Overbearing guitars that drown out everyone else annoy the sh*t out of me especially at a live show. I am very easy to get along with and am very agreeable. My second language is sarcasm. I want to have fun and create great music. Also, I would like to find someone who would like to play piano to some lyrics that I wrote for an audition and have become emotionally attached to.

Influences
I like anything with great vocals. My two most influential singers are Chris Cornell and Maynard James Keenan. I enjoy listening to everything from Live to Avenged Sevenfold. Pantera to Matchbox Twenty. I was the kid that idolized Metallica, then jumped on the grunge bandwagon. I wish I had time to name all of my influences. I am kind of a strange duck when it comes to music.

EQUIPMENT
I have a microphone, a pen and a brain. I have a guitar as well. I would like to learn to play and sing. Nothing too complicated, maybe two or three songs just enough to make me feel like a true rockstar. Maybe I would just pretend to play it.
