Looking to make new friends and play music. Learned to play by attending bluegrass and blues jam sessions. During my time living in Austin, I played in several bands. I really want to work on original material; songwriting and playing shows.
Speech Communication professor by day in Kingwood. In my free time I like building/refinishing furniture, painting and sculpting (mobiles!), and enjoying my ever growing record collection. I want to spend more of my free time working as a serious artist--incorporating what I enjoy doing with my instruments into my building/design projects.

Avant garde composers. Tape music/music concrete. Noise. Experimental music.
I like taking folk tunes and transforming them into something very different...,different tempo, different chords, different melody, etc.
I like changing tunings and finding oddball chords.
I love my ring modulator.
Let's make college-radio ready anti-pop that's weird for the sake of it. Freak out the squares and make adventurous listeners think that they've seen/heard something that's really creative (but it doesn't actually have to be....pulling a fast one on our unsuspecting public might be just as fun!)
