Recovering drummer of 46 years, now playing mandolin and singing. Love folky overtones. Have been actively playing mandolin and singing in a band for 5 years and would like to broaden my musical horizons. Not looking for a heavy gigging scene; been there, done that. Playing for the love of playing, with some gigs, would be ideal.

Influences
Rock and roll in previous years as drummer, but as stringed instrument player am now much more acoustically oriented. Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Americana, etc. but generally am musically omnivorous.
EQUIPMENT
Mandolins and guitars. Set up for gigging with good stage gear, but still prefer the organic sound of acoustic stringed instruments. Also have a raft of drums and percussion stuff.
