Best Rock Drummer Best Rock Lead Guitarist - ​the group​ took 1st 2nd or 3rd in all categories -This year ​Soul Rising​ is nominated again in the same categories
in both the LA Music Awards and the HMMA - Hollywood Music in Media Awards
​Soul Rising​ has opened for artists such as Smokey Robinson -The Motels - Missing Persons - BB King - and many more. ​Soul Rising​ has performed at venues such as The Rose Bowl (8000 people) - The Sunset Strip Music Festival (3000 people) - The Watts Festivals (3000 people) The Whiskey -The Key Club -The Roxy, The Viper Room, The House of Blues, The Canyon Club, The Mint, The Jon Lovitz Club, The M-15 , The Hard Rock Cafe, and many more.
Lead singer Vanessa Bryan is the featured artist in a new reality show that has been following
her all summer and training her relentlessly (she has lost 75 lbs) as you will see in these video clips
(the show air​ed ​in ​early March 2016 ​- Vanessa Bryan is currently on national tv as a contestant on "Celebrity Name Game'.
Vanessa is also on national tv singing in a Dairy Queen commercial​
The band works with producer/engineer Brian Garcia (the brains behind platinum artist Avril Lavigne) and Buddy Brendo owner of Conway Studios (1 of the top ten recording studios in United States) to record their compositions. The band members have each individually toured nationally with major acts such as Mariah Carey -Megadeth -Tina Marie - Kiss -Parliament Funkadelic - Al Jarreau - Alcatrazz and many more.
​Soul Rising​ has a quick change over, set up and break down. ​Soul Rising​ puts on an exciting, extremely energetic live performance with catchy songs, excellent vocal harmonies and very strong instrumental power behind it. They can also make the crowd dance. ​Soul Rising is set to release two new singles by th​e summer of 2016​.
