ABOUT

I am a former professional bass player with a band called "Pegasus" and also played bass for a number of studios in LA area from '76-'78. I also play rhythm and some lead guitar if that is the band's need. Am looking for the right group to play with who share the same interest in music. I don't need gigs or a band to put food on the table as I have been a successful attorney for the past 34 years. I am just looking to renew my love for playing, gigs or otherwise, bass or guitar depending on need, improve my chops and for professional growth. No patience for drugs or undependable types, otherwise humble and pliable with the right group of people. I can also sing lead or backup. I have reached a station in life where I can write my own ticket, are you the one or ones I've been waiting for?

Influences

Very eclectic -- Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Derek and the Dominos, Hendrix, Grateful Dead, Stones, Beatles, Lynard Skynard, Led Zeplin, Pink Floyd -- basically any one or band with talent. I can play or learn just about any "cover" that's thrown at me, especially on bass. Recently, I was exposed to modern country and I really liked it, especially the chick vocals.

EQUIPMENT

Too much to list. I own and collect 30-40 classic and custom guitars (I no longer count them), 10 basses, Gibson, Fender, Rickenbacker, Hofner and PRS customs. Guitar Amps: Marshall, Fender Twin Reverb, Mesa Boogie, all with JBL silver coned speakers for added tonal qualities, as well as smaller "practice" amps. Bass Amps: Accoustic 800 W pushing 6 x 10 and 2 x 15, SWR, Accoustic and Mark Bass cabinets. I use a Fender Rumble 500 W 2 x 10 for practice or auditions. I also own an incredible sound system that can fill an auditorium with lots of microphones. I'm the real deal.
