Played in numerous metal bands. All original music except for a Black Sabbath tribute band years ago. I think a fat riff goes miles beyond shred or flashy licks being the point of emphasis. Heavy groove riffs are my thing and what I'm notorious for. I do play leads of course but my emphasis is on the music, not just what my lead part is. I compose songs and love when other members add other ideas to the mix and vice versa.. A strong hook stays with you long after the song is over. Been doing this for a long time but I'm not ready to lay down and die. I miss the stage. I'm only interested in original music and hope to find like minded people to create something special.
