I only say that I play all of those instruments because I have. My main instrument is trumpet. I did play keyboard a lot, but I fake it more than I read the music for keys/piano.
With the guitar or drums or bass I am once again faking it most of the time, but I do know how to read. I have too much fun making things up. That is also how I fill in with a friend's upright with a bluegrass band.
I am helping out with a children's band right now with my french horn and tuba. I am reading all of the music so I can read treble and bass clef.
I am into jazz, funk, salsa, rock, blues, classical... the list goes on and on. I have even helped with a rap cd by playing trumpet, flugel horn, keys and bass.

My great aunt got me interested and my father helped out too by playing Maynard Ferguson records. After Maynard I listened to everything. Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Beatles, Aerosmith, Harry Connick Jr., The Blues Brothers, Run DMC, Eminem, Miles Davis, The Temptations and many more...

EQUIPMENT
I have trumpets (standard Bb classical and jazzy, picolo trumpet, cornet, and flugel horn), Roland keyboard with amp, microphones for any vocals or if needed for trumpet, acoustic guitars (Martin and a Gremlin), electric bass, electric guitar (I rarely use that one), and drum sticks. I also keep some lead sheets of jazz tunes I've written if anyone wants to try something.

Aerial Year: 2015 Genre: Jazz
I wrote this 4 months after brain surgery. My friends all liked it more than I did so we played it for a little show we had. I did write it as a duet. I'm on the melody with my flugel and my friend is above me on fiddle.
