My name is Mike. I live in Frederick, MD. I’ve been playing pedal steel guitar for the past 20 years. I currently play pedal steel in a Bob Weir tribute band based in Norfolk, VA. I also play lap steel & dobro in this band as well. I have played with several country bands in the Frederick & NOVA areas. I play dobro & bass with many of the musicians on the Frederick bluegrass scene. I studied orchestral & jazz bass in college where I received my music degree. I’ve played with the University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra, The Prince George’s Philharmonic Orchestra, & the Maryland Symphony. I also occasionally play my dobro & bass in duos with my bandleader from Norfolk. I’m looking for a country band that needs a pedal steel player. If you need someone who can play dobro, lap steel, or double bass I’m your man for that as well.
