I'm looking for a group, band or new friends to play and/or gig with a few times a month. I could practice once a week or so. I live and work in the Donelson area.
I have a career outside of the music business so I'm not dependent on it for a living. The kids are grown and gone and I want to explore playing again.
I read charts or music and enjoy writing from time to time. I have a degree in Music Business from Belmont and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca . I'm married (40 good years worth) and have recently become a granddad.
I believe music to be communication about life events, relationships and feelings. I have my share to draw from.
I love and admire many genres of music. Usually the more diverse the selection, the better I like it.
I primarily have always played bass but I can do guitar work and trumpet. Guess I could be a utility player with a little effort.

Influences
I grew up playing in church and in southern gospel groups (love that harmony) but was also influenced by the rock, pop, and country of the 60's and early 70's.
