I am a professional musician with 20+ years experience in the music industry. Playing with various groups of different generes at bars, nightclubs, venues, festivals, corporate events, and weddings. I am a graduate of McNally Smith Institute of Music with a Technical Degree in Music Performance and Education. Over the years I have played with artists such as: Ray White (Frank Zappa), World Famous Bola Abimbola from Nigeria (creator of fuji-pop), Fareed Haque (Garage Mahal), Jerry Joseph (The Jackmormons), Danny Hutchens (Bloodkin), Damon Wood (James Brown), Garrett Sayers (the Motet), Willie Waldman (famed west coast session trumpeter), and Taylor Hicks (5th season American Idol Winner). I have collaborated with acts such as: Miles Lee Band, Electric side Dish, Stanky Pockets, Harmonious Junk, Dyrty Byrds, Baked Iguana, The Sneaky Bastards, and Dr. Poz and the Funky Crew. I'm also proud to say I have shared the stage with other big names (to name a few) such as: Big Brother and the Holding Company, Dave Nelson and New Riders of the Purple Sage, Johnny Winter, and PBS (Porter, Batiste, and Stoltz).
I am a very professional, well rounded, well rehearsed, versatile, and intuitive player, with excellent improvisatioanl skills and creative flare. Also, I'm a firm believer in practicing on your own time as to come to rehearsal prepared to perform. I am down to "jam", if the music is somewhat improvisational and requires it.
I am looking for a band that plays regularly, pays at least $100/local, and $200+/in -state per member per gig. Professional and serious inquiries only please.
