ABOUT

Singer/songwriter with lots of folksy, pop-type, some blues songs. Play 12 string guitar mostly. Strong bass/baritone voice, excellent lyricist. Do many older cover songs. I have pretty much experience and stage presence and can engage any audience that bothers to listen. Among my own material are humorous pieces, love songs, ballads about real events, story songs, and songs with messages about social and environmental issues.

Looking to form duo only, seeking lead guitar or bass or mandolin with ability to sing harmonies. Open to another singer/songwriter with compatible material. Open to female or male, as long as we can sing together.

I've been around a while, so I was shaped musically a while back. Influences were Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Stan Rogers, Arlo Guthrie, James Taylor, Eagles, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Beatles etc. That said, I don't imitate anybody, and pick up cover songs from many areas.
