my name is Michael Beal. I've been playing drums, rhythm guitar, bass, and been singing for a few years now. i'm looking to start a band that supports and believes in our one and only God. i plan on creating a new type of genre that can cater towards those who really want to rock out and hear some badass riffs and solo's, but at the same time enjoy and appreciate who God is. i will do this through writing lyrics that will refer to God, but not have the word "God", "Lamb", "King of Kings", etc. in it. here is an example through the lyrics of one of my songs called "True":
we can twist the word,
but time will be heard.
these feelings are real,
and yet we do not deal.
we must see our unseens,
not with our eyes, but our means.
then it can become True,
that there is not you.
so now we can begin,
this path that's always been.
a path that always mends,
a path that never ends.
True,
be our view.

when we walk Truly,
our time becomes duly.
our hidden heart,
will always be the start.
nature strays intent,
but our mind knows all content.
we must not forget,
or fallacy brings back threat.

please check out my ./understandingwill to see if you are interested in the type of sound i am creating. keep in mind, all the recordings/songs are incomplete and are recorded in a very raw way (nonprofessional equipment/sounding). "Hope of Death" is probably my best and most universal song i've written so far. the song doesn't really start until around :40 seconds because of the intro that has a steadily increasing tempo with off rhythms at the end of each phrase. i will be the leader and main writer for this band, but i will always hear what other members have to say. after all, it's all about serving the sound, not the self.
