More info… I am a pro session and touring guitarist who has played, performed and recorded in over 75 genres including (alphabetically) Big Band, Blues, Classic Rock, Country, Folk, Funk, Fusion, Jazz, Latin, Motown, Pop, Pop-Rock, Prog Rock, RnB, Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Soul, Southern Rock and more! Currently available for sessions and touring. Originally from Northern California, I studied music in Middle School and High School and continued musical studies at San Jose City College under professor Dave Eshelman who later became the professor of Jazz studies at Cal State. In college. I was influenced by famed blues guitarist Chris Cain, whom I went to school with in college. I moved to Nashville in 1996 and worked full-time as a musician and studio producer for 12 years. I have seven major gear endorsements including Taylor Guitars, Celestion Speakers and Fuchs amps. I have performed concerts in 40 US states, in Europe, Scandinavia and Mexico. I spent many years as a solo Christian artist but also toured as a side man for other groups. I have played on hundreds of tracks and played hundreds of gigs. I was the guitarist for the Radio Daze Big Band from '97 to 2007 and played a wide array of shows with all types of other bands as well.
Major label notes: toured as a sideman for Curb Artist Jamie Slocum. Performed with Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Bernadette Peters and famed guitarist Phil Keaggy. I was a featured artist at the Zihuatanejo Guitar Festival in Mexico in 2006. I am a co-founding member of the Inventioning Band with Jon Anderson of Yes and Jean Luc Ponty.
