Michele Behner has already racked up over 1,000 performances, you've got to wonder when she got started. It was at age 6 that Michele started wowing audiences with her natural talent. Classical training began at age 10, where she gained versatility and expertise in vocal performance, acting, dance, modeling, songwriting and even ventriloquism. She has always appealed to diverse audiences by performing pop, R&B, country, 40's medleys, Broadway, and opera numbers. Michele has opened for Ricochet, Lone star, Nicolette Larsen, Michael Peterson, Joe Nichols, Three Dog Night, Six wire, Phil Vassar, Buddy Jewel, Jack Greene, Bellemy Bros., Rick Derringer ,Usher at his after party and Kayne West. With a 4-octave vocal range, her style is often compared to the tender beauty of Patsy Cline with the power vocals of Martina McBride.. In the past year Michele's focus had turned to the contemporary christian/crossover scene. In September 2002, she recorded a demo in Nashville produced by four-time Grammy nominated country singer/songwriter David Frizzell. While there, she rubbed shoulders with Dwayne Blackwell, who wrote many songs including Garth Brooks "I've Got Friends In Low Places". Looking onward and upward,Michele is looking forward to moving on with her career by cutting an original cd. She has made several trips to Nashville and is meeting all kinds of great people in the industry.
