I am a singer/songwriter looking for a band to help promote my original songs. I am a registered nurse with the goal of writing songs to "inspire" and help those in need. One of my pop/rock songs,"Hope" recently placed in the top 10 of an international songwriting competition. 2 of my songs were awarded special consideration/honorable mentions in another International songwriter contest. A song I wrote for a Suicide Prevention Campaign called "A Better Way", recently played on 18 radio stations in several Western states. My originals are on iTunes, Spotify, be, Apple music, etc. I currently sing at a restaurant on a regular basis and have sung for many years in bands, at restaurants, weddings, business parties, etc. I sang at an Olympic event, won the Miss San Juan County pageant, performed a few times on a TV broadcast from the State Fair and was asked to be part of an opening act for The Oak Ridge Boys. I would like to put together a band that is interested in doing originals and some covers with influences from Country/Americana and pop/rock for events and possibly clubs or restaurants here in Utah.
