ABOUT

I'm a self-taught guitarist, I've been playing since I was 7 years old. I also write and sing. My best work is performed from a stool with an acoustic guitar and a microphone... I also play bass, some keyboards, Irish penny whistle, and I can play decent drums. My husband plays bass and sings. My musical tastes include most types of music on the planet - for fun I tend to play either alternate tuned finger-picking acoustic stuff or eardrum-hurting distorted electric stuff. Covers are played somewhat "uniquely." I like converting modern music into "celtic" styles.

I also create music for film, tv, and video games, using a combination of live playing and electronic virtual instruments. I"m available to play tracks, record, mix, and/or compose for projects.

EQUIPMENT

Breedlove 6-str acoustic guitar, Breedlove 12-str acoustic guitar, Cordoba nylon string classical guitar, rebuilt custom Epiphone Les Paul (as in the thing was busted and I rebuilt the body cavity with Bondo), various Italia electric guitars, Clarke Penny whistles in D and C, low whistle in D, maple Meinl cajon with a Roland synth trigger, cowbell, a tam-tom (tambourine with a tom head intended to be mounted on a drum kit), bodhran, Roland electronic drum kit, Tama Cocktail Jam Mini Kit, and a couple of old synths (Yamaha and Korg). I have my own singing mics, recording mics and vocal processors and some assorted other equipment, as well as a full mixing desk.
