    this is a true story bout a man i met years ago when i was looking for estate sales.
    he posted a single sign that simply said ----> sale.
    drug all his furniture out into his driveway and was selling it to pay his taxes.
    he once had 600 acres and was down to 1.
    his kids were grown up and moved away and his wife died years before and this man was determined to stay in the place he called home for his entire life.

    this song is a celebration of the tenacity of life and what it takes to simply go on when all is seemingly lost.
