Midnite Crisis

Harmonica, Background Singer, Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Vocalist.

Hi... we are looking for someone that can sing and play some rhythm guitar in a classic rock/oldies band. If given the choice your guitar abilities are not as important as vocal skills. Out of three sets of 12 tunes (36 songs roughly total ) should be able to carry around a third of the vocal duties. Back up help would be great also. As it stands current band consists of: Lead Vocals, Two guitar players, Bass and drummer. Our ages are from mid thirties to fifties. We have a lot of fun but are striving to pick up additional paying gigs and continuing to work on improving our sound and performance levels. None of us think we are great and there is no attitude problem... so that being said we are looking for the same type of individual. Like I said we have fun and are all good friends but are working on a common goal.

We have been doing this together for about a year now. We have played a few gigs and have a some future gigs scheduled into the winter months. We have a dedicated practice space in Havertown. Practice is usually on Saturday nights from around 7:30 to 11:00 PM. Anyone interested should be local and must be able to devote Sat. nights for practice. The gigs we have are usually Friday or Saturday nights. Practice nights are a big deal for us. We absolutely try not to miss any or be late.

If you are interested we would love to hear from you. If it seems like a fit come over to our practice space and try a few tunes asap... the soon the better. Thanks and looking forward hearing from you.

Bellow is a partial list of the tunes we play. We are always trying new ones and cropping the weaker songs as we find replacements. We try to be a "easy listening" band with some dance-able tunes (the more the better). As you can see there are a few rocker/jam songs on the list. Also we work on volume control... nothing will drive people out of a small pub that a excessively loud band. We by any means are not a metal band so most of the rhythm guitar parts will be best played with a small, clean amp and guitar.
