I'm in the process of forming an acoustic-based music group. So far there's me on guitar/vocals and a lady that sings plays keyboard and fiddle.
We now need 1 to 2 more guitar players; e.g. players that sing and ideally play a second instrument such as bass or mandolin.

Our interest in music covers a wide variety. For example: Beatles, Eagles, Bob Dylan, CCR, CSN, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Iain Matthews, Americana, and English folk music (e.g., Fairport Convention). Some country (I prefer mainly the older stuff), some blues, some swing, some jazz, a little gospel, a little bluegrass, and even some show tunes! (e.g., I do "Summertime" from "Porgy & Bess").

Looking to play out 2-3 times a month at suitable venues such as cafes, restaurants, private events, weddings, parties, or for charities mainly on weekends (i.e., Friday and Saturday)

I have to say up front that we are not looking to do "originals"; only covers.

Best practice times are Saturday or Sunday afternoons, 2p - 5p.

Some personal info: I'm married (no kids) and I work a normal "8-5 Monday-Friday" job

Yamaha 6 and 12-string acoustic guitars, Peavey 6-string electric guitar. Ibanez 4-string bass, Aria Mandolin, and Washburn 5-string banjo. I have a PA (8-channel Yamaha mixer with two 1000W powered speakers and two 280W monitors).
