Modest Mike's Mods BBB Member A+
Gotta call Friday from Ciano Cioffi, the bass tech for Incubus. They were playing at the Walmart Amphitheater in my area that night. Seems there was a minor musical emergency, and Ciano needed 5 pedals. You just never know :)
YES! There is someone local who modifies guitar effects pedals!
I started this as a part time business, but this is all I do full time for 14 years now. Business has been great, we sell refurbished modified pedals all over the world. But I really appreciate the local support. It is fun meeting and talking to local musicians.
"We make your sounds...sound good!"

Shoot me an email, or call anytime :)

EQUIPMENT
Les Paul, Taylor and Ovation acoustic, Other electric guitars, 100 watt B-52 2x12 tube amp (a little too much), Fender Pro JR, and pedals, pedals, pedals!
When I modify pedals, I listen very closely to the pedal only with my headphones through a little Peavey PV6 mixer. Then I try them out on the amp.
I learned to record a little with a Boss BR-1200 years ago, but don't seem to find time to record lately. I am almost always at home, in front of my computer working on pedals.

All Right Now
All Right Now Year: 1970 Album: Fire and Water Genre: Classic Rock
This is a backing track. That's me on guitar, playing one of my modified pedals, an Ibanez TS-5. You can see the video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8pkoOQa0S8 If we can make a TS-5 sound like this, imagine what we can do with your pedal! Email me for a free copy of that soundtrack, it's the real deal with Free and Paul Rodgers...minus the guitar (Paul Kossoff). It's a fun song when you need a break from all of that serious practice. Bass players like it too! [email protected] See most of our mods at: www.modestmikesmods.com Bring me your pedal or mail it in. We make your sounds sound good!

I created and mixed all of these tracks (all instruments) when making this one using a Boss BR-868. Used our modified Big Muff when recording these tracks.

I made this soundtrack for a singer. Good example of how a TR-2 can also sound good with dirt. Just fast forward through the beginning. My daughter made fun of my drums.
