I love recording, but at 74 years, I'm not looking for another band to start over with. I'm okay just doing what I do, although I might be interested in collaborating with other artists on some projects. But for the most part I just make recordings and put them on here. I do all the singing. I do play all the guitar, bass, harmonica and some keyboard parts. I compose parts for more difficult keyboard work and all other instruments I don't play (i.e. sax, violins, flutes, accordion, etc...) using MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) to make the instrumental sounds for what I write on home recording programs Garageband and Pro Tools. I don't use samples except sometimes for sound effects, like knocking on a door or what I imagine might be a sound created by an object passing through space (I know there's no sound in space because there's no air *LOL* but you know....) I love to play. None of these recordings are being sold by me, by the way. They are all covers of songs by other artists and are just here for amusement, entertainment, just for listening with no intent to sell or make any remuneration whatsoever and with no intent to break copyright laws.

Influences

50s, 60s, 70s: Willy DeVille (you can tell that by all the covers of his songs I've recorded. He was one of my all-time absolute favorites), BB, Robert Cray, Motown; some of them one-hit wonders, but I also like Elvis Costello, Otis Redding, and many others. I try to learn different styles as much as I can, as it's fun and interesting, although I have to say my tastes mainly revolve around R&B.
