I studied jazz & rock drumming and percussion with renowned timpanist and educator Alexander Lepak while at Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford. I also studied rock & jazz drumming with Gene Bozzi & Michael LaRosa. I studied jazz piano and theory with Ray Cassarino, onetime member of Woody Herman's band. I play many musical styles including rock, jazz, funk, classical, latin and more. I founded NewingtonMusic where I am a music teacher & producer. I have played with The Commuters - 80s Alternative Rock, IRN - Techno, Valley Swing Shift - Big Band Jazz, The Core - Alternative Rock, Blue Moon - Top 40, Babyshake - Original Alternative, Kings Highway - Classic Rock, Cinister - Hard Rock, and For The Record - Alternative Rock, as well ad timpani and percussion with The Hartt Symphony Orchestra, The Manchester Symphony and the Willimantic Orchestra. I've performed musicals with The Connecticut Theatre Company, Mark Twain Masquers, Hartford Stage Youth Theatre, and Farmington Valley Stage Company.
