What's up? We are a Hard Rock/Hardcore band based out of Edwardsville, IL and we are currently in the market for a singer or drummer. The band has been playing together for about 5 and a half years and are looking to get a solid singer/drummer so we can take our music to the next level. We have had trouble getting a singer so our current drummer can switch to vocalist if a drummer is good enough to replace him. We are an original band, with at least 20 songs complete on drums and guitar. We have full band practice every other weekend in Edwardsville (preferably whole weekend) but also have practices during the weeks with just guitarists. Pretty much, we are a bunch of 21-25 year old guys that are looking to have fun and create some awesome music!
We are looking for a singing style possibly similar Jeremy McKinnon (A Day To Remember) or at least within his vocal range. We like hearing different styles of voices, and if this band sounds like it interests you, then don't be afraid to try out! Our tryout song of choice is Downfall of Us All (ADTR again), but if you'd prefer to sing a different one, then let us know.
As for drummer, just let us know the most difficult song you can cover or just come by and show us what ya got to offer! We have a drum set here, so you just need to stop by and play (though you may prefer to bring your own bass pedals, the ones we have here are axis longboards and can be quite different from normal pedals).
