I love playing and singing music. I grew up listening to oldies such as Elvis, 50's stuff, liked the Beatles, love the 70's, 80's stuff. I couldn't sing all the high classic rock stuff like Boston but then the Country Music resurgence in the mid to late 80's and 90's really grabbed me and it fit well for my voice. My favorite artists to sing: Keith Whitley, George Strait, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks. The last 10 years though I've fell in love with all of the contemporary Christian music and groups. I love it. I have led worship at a church and now just have all these songs in my head that I would love to get together and play sometime on a casual basis. My best friend plays the bass and has a really nice voice. We've got a very nice PA system in his basement that I'm itching to put to use a few times a year for the fun of it and just a reason to get together.
