SEEKING
Lead Guitar.ABOUT
Dave & The Detonators are currently a tight trio and are looking to expand the band with a lead guitar player, keyboardist and saxophonist. We play 60s and 70s rock 'n roll, R&B with some blues and country thrown in there. The three of us are old friends who've been in many bands together over the years. We're not kids and we know how to behave onstage and off.
Goal is to be able to pump out the tunes in a professional organized matter and provide quality entertainment for our paying customers. We're definitely all about playing live, so we're looking for professional experienced musicians who have worked and know how to behave in the band situation.
We have a tight rhythm section between bass and drums that forms the backbone of the band. All three members sing with our rhythm guitarist being the front-man. All members sing backing vocals and harmonies which we feel are very important to a professional show.

Influences
Our influences are all the stuff that got airplay through the 60s 70s and 80s. Although for our live performances we tend to gravitate away from the same old tired standards everybody plays. We tend to do a lot of B-sides from bands everybody knows and loves
.
Although we play plenty of other people's music were not cover band in that we do other people's songs without a lot of regard for how they were originally recorded. We do the songs our way and as a result some are performed very much like the originals, and many are not.
Band members are expected to come up with their own parts for the songs, not just copy how it was originally done. We encourage band members to be original in their compositions or interpretation of other people's music. We like to play other people's music with our own unique individual flair. Plus we have a number of our originals thrown in there too.
Members Of Band
Dave Chambers; rhythm guitar and lead vocals.
Mike Peacock; bass, backing vocals & harmonies.
Victor Griffith; drums, backing vocals & harmonies.
EQUIPMENT
We've all been doing this for years and have plenty of equipment.
If we play a bigger gig we'll rent a stage and lights as is required and can be afforded by the show.
