The Walter Michaels Band is a Southern Rock/Blues band playing primarily original material and their own renditions of select covers.
Fronted by lead singer/guitarist and primary songwriter Walter Michaels with band members vocalist, lead, rhythm and slide guitarist David Skidmore, vocalist and bass player (currently looking to replace) and drummer Jan Cocchiara, The Walter Michaels Band provides an entertaining and professional performance to its audiences. The band frequents concert halls such as San Juan Capistrano's The Coach House and fairs/festivals such as the San Diego County and Orange County fairs. The band has shared billing with the likes of Neal Schon, Robin Trower, Dick Dale, and countless other national acts. The band currently has two album releases on Cd and available on iTunes, Amazon and other electronic outlets. The band is currently completing their third release. Prior to forming the Walter Michaels Band the band Overland recorded and release Walter's song 'Let You Go' which reached number 26 on the US national radio charts.
