Former Road Musician that plays a wide range of genres of music. I play in several Praise Teams and more than one church. I also play in a Duo and front a Quartet playing in Assisted Living Facilities, mainly memory units. We do big band, jazz and sing along music.
I work in a variety of other combinations, but would like to get in a more permanent situation.
I retired from my Day job January of 2018, and I work with the 9th Street Jazz Company on a regular basis, along with a few other projects. We play at least once a week. Occasional extra gigs would be considered, but I’m quite busy since retiring !!!

Influences
My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A wide variety of musical influences, too numerous to try to mention. I am always interested in learning new styles and I am good at reading chord charts and improvising. I can slowly read regular music charts, but I am out of practice sight reading. I have sat in as a side man and a temporary bassist for a wide variety of bands. I have done pit work as well as large scale concerts and recording.

Acoustic head and two cabinets. ( 4-10's and 1-15)
Several Basses: Fender Jazz Aerodyne, Hartfield by Fender, Hamer Slammer and a couple other electric basses.
I also have a 3/4 upright bass.
I have full PA and Lights par 38's to par 64's along with LED pars.
I have a Yamaha Motif keyboard.
