I play drums. I have a couple of decades of experience behind the kit, but don't let that fool you - I am very young looking and very young at heart. I have tried to learn competence with a lot of different styles, but my sweet spot is right through the center of popular rock. I know hundreds of covers, but am most comfortable working out my own parts for original tunes. My kit is old, but adequate, and I'd like to upgrade soon.
Besides drumming, I also am an audio engineer with studio experience on both sides of the glass. I have a small live sound business and strong skills with the dials and faders. I produce custom soundtracks and have developed a decent catalog of my own original electronic music pieces.
I have recently parted ways with an original classic-ish rock band that I had been with for a couple of years. I'm eager for a new project - I'm pretty open to ideas. I've had a blast with money-making cover bar bands. But I would also love to find an original project I can really believe in.
I don't mind the rock-and-roll lifestyle, and I don't mind a party at practice or at the gig. But that'll only work if everyone is comfortable with each other's professionalism.
I'm ready to practice a few nights a week, maybe gig a couple more - and tour when possible.
You can find me on The Faysebouk by searching for "Best Sound Around". ;)

EQUIPMENT
It's an old Pearl Export kit. It sounds old, but it still sounds good. Looking to upgrade soon. Meanwhile, I've got a killer snare sound and cymbal mix to make up for it.
Besides the kit, I've got a nice pair of Bose L1's for mains, a Soundcraft mixer, and some mic's and stuff. It's a live sound business. O.o
