My main instrument is guitar. No, I can't really read music, except tabs (somewhat).. I still don't know the names of all the chords, although I can play them. I'm pretty familiar with scales. I like to put my own twist on them, and combine different scale shapes at once, (got it from Jimmy Page).. I just really wanted to play guitar, started out getting pretty decent on bass, but I wanted to play a 6 string. So I got one. Couldn't play it. So for about 8 months all I did was listen to music and try to play that guitar. Now, I can definitely play. But I will say, if playing a cover, I won't play it note for note. But I'll definitely play "in the style of"..
