im Mikele, im a "new"guy at portland for about a year, months but staying here for a couple of years from now.
originally im from Tel aviv, Israel
done with my grad school MFA. free to rock.
Playing for 18 years now at the age of 32
i can play about anything like rock, jazz, prog , metal.
but actually dont want to roll on just to any song these days.
these days im into strong rock , without too much definitions, just good strong warm riffs and meaning.
kinda like Queens of the stone age, tomahawk and such...
could do Noise, indie, live D&B, electro too
also like blue grass but mostly if it goes rural and distorted hyped.
stoner rock is great and other like that will fly.
Also , I enjoy a simple meaningful groove these days so I ain't looking just for intricate stuff.
(cover songs band is possible and easy but i definitely want to do original music )

Influences
my all time "obvious" favorites partial list of what I grow upon and played along core.
Metal: Meshuggah, NIN, pantera, and many more.
Progressive: king crimson, yes, uk, and dream theater (grew up playing D.T to get the chops but kinda laughing at it these days) and other stuff
rock: Led zeppelin, rediohead, frank zappa, pink floyd, genesis(oldies with p.gabriel) pixies, sonic youth, FNM.
band : had about 20+ bands, from hebrew metal to frank zappa cover's band, power symphony to noise indie,
had performances at europe too. berlin/amsterdam/london along the years ...
got studio time and im also proficient in studio recording and production. programs, hardware, mixing.
Here i got a decent kicking drum set at my basement.

but ZAKA had broke couple months ago and im now at portland !
