Hello Rock Stars,

I've moved to LA from SD and I'd like to start filling my musical schedule again. I've had a lot of experience in singer/songwriter and pop/rock/blues bands, but am definitely open to some possibilities outside that realm, like playing with live electronics, an MC, a dj (which I've done, and dug), or backing up a KILLER female vocalist. I'm available for live shows, touring, and recording/studio work, and last-minute gigs don't scare me one bit. Ideally, I don't want to get into a real "garage band" situation. I'd like to join a working band with a vision and some ambition...even if that ambition is just to have fun. If your musical schedule includes playing your first coffee shop gig in the next couple months, we're probably talking about two different things.

If I had to pick my ideal situation, I'd LOVE to back up a female, piano playing singer/songwriter type or playing with a live DJ with some kind of live drums/electronic duo. But I love new opportunities. So far, in San Diego, I've played with Tory Roze, The Yes Team (folk rock), Tonto (Electronica/Experimental), DJ Happee (Scratch DJ) , Blues gigs, PermaCrush (80's Rock'ish), and frequent the great blues jam at Prohibition on wednesdays.

I've been fortunate enough in Denver to have the opportunity to play a few KBCO Studio C's, Played Red Rocks, and had a chance to play with some great players in the Denver area, including Stuart Davis (pop/singer songwriter), Skye Downing, Hazel Miller, Erik Boa & The Constrictors, (blues/blues/blues) Melissa Ivey, Megan Burtt, Jen Korte, Rob Drabkin,(singer/songwriters) Mojo Mama (funk), Ten Tiers, 49 Floors (singer/songwriters), and many more.

For YOUR chance to listen to me, I'll give you a few options:

I have pro gear, and love the challenge of creating new music...which brings up another point. I'm not that interested in being a metronome/side man. I'd love a chance to contribute creatively to the process because I think it helps the finished product in the end.

If this sounds like a good fit, I'll talk to you soon!
