Band to Join, Other, Keyboard, Violin, Other Percussion, Drums, Acoustic Guitar, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Vocalist.

Are you tired of all of the same old band crap? Well, I'm starting a band from the ground up. I want to take the songwriting book of rules and use it as kindling in the furnace of aural creativity. I am a bass player/songwriter with 21 years of experience looking for male/female musicians in my area that understand that writing quality music is more important then just playing gigs. Songs come first, gigging comes second. I am not interested in writing three songs and adding a bunch of cover songs just to be able to book gigs. Basically I'd rather spend a year or two perfecting songs, if it so happened to work out that way. Extra money from playing shows is a bonus to me, not the main goal. I would like to find a singer, drummer, two guitarists, and a keyboardist. I am also open to the idea of other musicians such as string players, percussionists, & electronica musicians. Song writing ability and un-restricted creativity is a must. I would like to discover our own sound instead of focusing on trying to create a particular style of music. I have a place to jam and I also have a modest recording studio including V-Drums. If this sounds interesting to you please contact me.

I am more influenced by particular songs than an entire band, if you know what I mean by that then you might be the kind of musician I'm looking for. These are some bands that I dig....The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Ween, Beck, Alice in Chains, Love/Hate, Frank Black, Jane's Addiction, Presidents of the United States of America, King's X, Tame Impala, and Early Alice Cooper just to name a few.

Instrument experience:

I got stuff that makes noise and stuff that records noise.
