I grew up playing guitar until college where I studied world music/percussion and started playing drumset. After that I missed percussion every time I played guitar and missed melody every time I played drums. Turns out I was always meant to be a bass player where you really can have the best of both worlds.
I love slap bass, funk, reggae, hip hop, salsa, samba, dub, and just about anything with a bass line that gets people moving or nodding their heads.
Currently, I'm into writing/composing/recording original music and trying my hand at film scoring, but I'm always up for collaboration. I live the dad life so committing to a band isn't something I can realistically do right now.
