ABOUT

I'm starting a band based on the fundamental concept of democratically decided music and gig choices. Additionally, based on my years of working with musicians, there will be a few rules that must be followed - such as; no expectations or pressure to be a part of it. You must bring your own instrument. No drugs (420 ok) etc.. This is a casual, once or twice a month session at my house, with possibility of a gigs for fun - not for the $. I play drums, sing and play acoustic guitar. And finally, at all times, the members have the ability to un-invite a member - including me. But, since it's my house, you'll have to find another place to play.

I'm not looking for someone to come in and do their music. I'm looking for people who are willing to play other's music as well as their own. I enjoy originals more than covers but am open to both. Also, song choice will be 100% democratic vote. If a member does not like the set choice, they are free to leave at any time w/o hassle.

As far as music choices, I'm not terribly stuck on any one genre but generally not into hiphop, rap, heavy metal or pop.

In addition to Acoustic, Alt/Mod rock/Blues, I'd love to play some folk, jazz, funk, bluegrass, reggae, minimal classic rock, electronic and whatever "other" is.
