The strength of an artist’s integrity lies in the passion they
exude in their expression, and it is this emotion, that
conveys itself so forcefully in the music of Miltonio.
Born in the Central American nation of El Salvador and
raised in Houston, Texas, he bears
the dual heritage of his Austrian mother, and Guatemalan
father.
His musical roots are buried deep in the Latin rhythms of
his childhood, but the power of
American Rock, Funk, and Soul, have also been an
indelible influence.
his career began as the lead singer, seconds keyboardist
of OZ KNOZZ, a Houston based Progressive Rock outfit.
Shortly after, he relocated to Los Angeles where he honed
his song writing skills, under the tutelage of the legendary
Sam Brown III, one of Motown’s top writer arrangers.
When Miltonio returned to Houston Texas, he rejoined OZ
KNOZZ and completed 2 Albums, 10,000 Days and
Nights and True Beliver the latter one being Grammy
Suggested.
Later Miltonio joined forces with Jeff Morrison creating the
dynamic Funk duo Lords of Kool.
Miltonio is also a Recording Academy Affiliate and a
GRAMMY’S Voting member.
