SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums, Saxophone, Piano, Flute.ABOUT
I played in many local bar bands starting almost 50 years ago, traveled in a couple of road bands, been in the studio with two different bands. I'm working in a home studio with original material. I do not have a specific set choice of genre. I'm an experimental musician with most experience on guitar, a little bit on piano and I'm working with drums now. I put up some of my recordings to give you an idea of the different types of things I do. I'd like to put together a band for local gigs and do mostly original material, not just mine but other members also and maybe a few covers but I don't want to be a copycat band and I am not trying to wow anybody with slick playing. The goal is to complete some music and make some recordings, entertain some people and enjoy doing it. I'd like to gig a couple times a month.

About My Music,
None of the music here is intended to be for radio play. These are demos and rough copies, not necessarily finished for publication.
Wacky Weed
Vocal demo -This is an original song I wrote about 4 years ago. I recorded this March 24th 2024. That's me on guitar and harp too.
Misty
I uploaded a vocal demo. I recorded the vocal on February 16th 2024. It is done over a commercial backing track. I did not play the music and I didn't feel there was anything I could add to it so I've left it as is and just put my vocal on it. This was recorded cold with no rehearsal, l never heard this music before and I'd never sang Misty in E Flat, always D flat, so this is like a cold walk on with a lounge band. No dubs, no corrections, first take, hope you like it.
The drum songs are from what I call free recording sessions I just fire up the console and sit down and start to play there's no planning here none of the stuff was composed and planned it was just played off the cuff.
The guitar instrumentals have been recorded at various times over the last 3 years some of them require a lot of work like Backwoods Tailgate Stomp.
Taking Life Easy, I tracked when I woke up one mornin. I prepared the drum beat on a drum machine and tracked the piano and drum tracks. The next morning when I woke up I went straight to the guitar and recorded the guitar tracks.
