ABOUT

Singer/songwriter whose musical style is mostly folk/Americana with it's roots in 60's and early 70's folk-rock, country-rock. I also play blues, country, folk-rock and classic rock. I perform both solo and with my amazingly talented daughter. We do a mix of original music and classic covers. I am blessed to have a number of very talented musician friends any one of whom you will see sitting in with me/us on any given occasion. My passion is singing and songwriting and performing my songs for people who love music. I recently went through a battle with throat cancer, one which by the grace of God, the help of a fantastic medical team, friends, co-workers and family, I can say I won! It changed me, forever. It gave me a whole new perspective on what's really important in life! It made me feel so much more connected to the heart and soul of my music. It affected my voice, altered my range and made it a little more raspy, but I'm learning to make it work. It influenced and enhanced my songwriting. I will soon have enough material to do a full 3 hour show of all original songs (with a few choice covers thrown in). I joined this site to connect with more local and semi-local musicians, singers, songwriters. I truly love collaborating with other musicians.
