Hello, my name is Michael. I’m 45 and live in Phoenix, AZ with my wife and 2 cats. I was a lead singer in a blues/classic rock band based in Boston in my early 20s (I’d rate Though I noodled around with a guitar then, I began seriously studying the instrument about a year ago.
I’m looking for a band to gig with locally that plays maybe 1-2 shows a week. I also want to do some collaborative songwriting and put out an album or two. For now, though, I just want to jam with some people and have some fun.

Influences
Beatles, Stones, The Police, Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, Hendrix, Radiohead, Delta Blues, Fleetwood Mac, Rage Against the Machine, Bob Dylan, Van Halen, Victor Wooten, Motown stuff to name a few. I also listen to old school hip hop (Nas, Wu Tang, Biggie, Tribe Called Quest), lots of classical music and I have a soft spot for female pop stars with killer voices (Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera).

EQUIPMENT
