Michael James, aka MJ, is a gifted guitarist & musician, playing professionally for the last 36 years. He began playing guitar at age 15, formally trained at Fullerton College as well as Musician's Institute in Hollywood. Michael also studied privately for 5 years at the infamous Musonia school of Music, of Randy Rhoads fame, in North Hollywood, CA. He played the L.A. club circuit during the 80's, while being one of the most sought after guitar teachers in Southern California, often averaging over 70 students per week. In 1994 a series of dramatic events changed his life and musical career forever, and for the last 25 years Michael has been a full-time Worship Pastor. In the late 90's he was the International Product Specialist for Line6, has been a demonstrator, performer and buyer at NAMM shows for 35 years. Today, Michael continues to lead worship every Sunday, privately tutor dozens of students, and work as a cue writer for several television shows. In the midst of all his musical endeavors Michael still finds time to tour with the national rock act D'Molls.
