ABOUT

Total time in music, 40 years. I began playing music when I was 9 years old. My first instrument was the trumpet and I played several wind instruments over the next several years. I picked up the bass when I was 12 and continued in the high school concert band playing Baritone and Tuba. Bass is just a natural fit for me.

I have a wide musical taste and I am capable of playing many different styles with practice but my heart is with blues, Motown/R&B, most 70's, some 80's and various classic/southern rock and classic country and acoustic-based music. The Acoustic based, moderate volume music is where I want to keep my focus. Keeping it simple but very entertaining with the right mix of music.

EQUIPMENT

Currently, I play a 4 string G&L JB model. I have also played Fender, Peavey, Music Man, Rickenbacker, Washburn, and Ibanez basses in the past. My main amp currently is an incredible sounding Fender Rumble Studio 40 modeling amp I use as a preamp and practice amp with more equipment available if needed.
