ABOUT

(Update 4-30-2024: currently not actively looking as I have some studio projects that I'm working on. Will resume active search when those are complete. I'm not totally closed off though; feel free to drop me a line if you want)

25 y.o., seeking out anyone with a penchant for the odd and angular to get a post-punk/art punk/new wave thing going.

I'm envisioning a group that would convene and commit itself to some sort of project goal (whether a live or studio thing). During this time the people who are in are *IN*. Once the objective is concluded, we would reconvene and decide whether we want to "re-up". In other words, the band would deliberately break up and reform by consensus. At some point, I would want to take this project to the annual Devo fan convention in Cleveland, OH. Perhaps in 2025 or 26.

I have a couple dozen original songs I'd like to bring to life, plus some covers. (not all at once though, obviously.) The biggest caveat is that many of the lyrics are explicitly (far-left) political in nature, so you'll have to either grin and bear it or be part of the antifascist woke mob yourself.

I'm on Spotify and Bandcamp as Zhir Vengersky, if you'd like to listen to what you might be getting yourself in to.
