Band to Join, Acoustic Guitar, Other Percussion, Piano, Background Singer.

Thank you for stopping to read my profile.

Currently, I'm dedicated to one band which is startup cover band and a few other independent recording projects. However, I am always willing to collaborate with like-minded musicians who are interested in all-originals, covers or a combination of both.

In the meantime, I am available to fill in or provide you recorded drum tracks for your songs or project. I am experienced to provide lessons from the beginner to advanced level ranging from concert snare performance to all styles on the drum kit. I can assist with audition prep and train in sight reading or music theory in general.

I am trained in most major genres - jazz, funk, rock, latin, reggae, Middle-Eastern and classical. I can read sheet music and jazz charts.

I began playing at age 10 but didn't sit behind my first kit until high school. I was soon sitting behind an all-original fusion / rock / dance band which gained some local popularity. We hit the Dallas club circuit and started to get a little following. That short-lived claim to fame ended with my decision to join the U.S. Marine Corps with hopes of being a military musician. I was accepted and attended the Armed Forces School of Music (Norfolk, VA) where I gained an in-depth study of drums, percussion, ear-training and theory from same of the most amazing instructors in the country.

I have a homemade studio and finally put together a great inventory of drums, snares, cymbals and percussion. I am always learning and working on my coordination, stick control, footwork, timing, and getting back into the groove! I enjoy the challenge of working out new grooves.

If any of this interests you or you feel we might be a good match, please drop a line and introduce yourself and let's see where it goes.

Thanks again and I look forward to from you!
