Experienced and versatile drummer / percussionist who loves many genres. If you're looking for someone who can throw a blast beat at 1000 bpm's or likes to add crazy fills all over the place every other measure, then I guarantee you we will not be a good fit. LOL!

But if you need someone with a solid sense of time, dynamics, and pocket who can make the beat groove, and can fill appropriately to the music then we might have something to chat about.

I have a pretty good foundation of rhythmic theory, can read sheet music or jazz charts with a solid understanding of simple and complex (or odd) time signatures.

Currently, I'm drumming with a multi-genre cover band, The Fifth Pocket (fifthpocketband 'dot' com) and playing percussion with an original singer / songwriter trio, Brother T LoveJones Triple Play (brothertlovejones 'dot' com).

In between, I can find time to do some side recording projects and give lessons or help you prep for any upcoming auditions - from school bands, symphonies or orchestras to jazz combos and rock bands.
