Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar.

I was at one time a contributing member of a garage/basement band that played some covers, but mostly originals. This was several years ago in the early 80s, but those were some of the most creative and rewarding years of my life!

A little about me: I'm a 58 year old Quality Technician/drummer/poet from Huntington Beach. Again, I played in a garage band in Michigan during the early 80s. We played at parties, dances, graduations, local dive bars. Just anywhere anyone who would listen to us really. And we were only teenagers ourselves, but we were eager, ambitious, dedicated and we loved playing! I wrote lyrics for some of our originals as did the bass player and guitarist. Great memories! I later joined the Marines and this kinda put an end to my musical career. I played again briefly in the early 90s while attending art school after I left the Marine Corps.

I've been out of the loop since then, focusing mostly on family and career. At this time in my life, I am established in my work and my children are grown and doing their own thing. My muse has ended her hibernation and is actively pursuing my attention. I work full time and have responsibilities outside of my career. But I am mostly free on weekends and when I find the right group of individuals, I will commit to regularly scheduled practice/rehearsals

My influences range from The Beatles to RUSH and almost everything in between, including but not limited to: REM, Oasis, Gin Blossoms, KISS (yes, KISS dammit!) The Smithereens, STP, U2, Foo Fighters, Counting Crows, Collectve Soul, Toad the Wet Spocket, Nirvana, Green Day, and a lot of other 90s alternative.

About two years ago, as I was visiting Guitar Center "just to look" I ended up purchasing a Roland TD1DMK electronic drum set. This was all it took to reignite my love for music, expression and creativity. I rediscovered my voice!

About two months ago, again while visiting the notorious Guitar Center, I purchased a beautiful blue TAMA 7 piece acoustic drum set. Once I find the right people to commit to, I will purchase cymbals and hardware. For now, I play with my electronic kit and my amplifier
