I'm a singer/songwriter that has 10-20+ songs written with the music (chords) as well. I'm a 2 year guitar player who is not a natural when it comes to playing but I do play plenty well enough to express what I want my songs to sound like.
I play my own songs best, but have trouble quickly picking up other stuff- I am becoming more of a singer/writer/creator rather than a guitar player.
I'm looking for serious & friendly people who have the time to care about creating something, but have no beginning expectations. I am really excited to play with other musicians and have everyone become co-creators, and work as a group. Although I have many songs and some demos, I have no problems and look forward to working together with equal input and responsibilities from everyone.
I'd like to meet people that will enjoy sharing their knowledge, skills, and interests. If playing live & making a record is important to you then...
I do feel that my songs are good enough & getting better, and as far as I'm concerned my voice is erratic now, but will get better & better as I practice. I know I can write a good song, but my musical limitations are holding me back from really exploring the songs, and their possibilities. I need help from others,( from a band), to take my songs and make them our songs.
I will pay for studio time... If the time comes to record with better equipment than any of us might have.-
