Graduate Chicago Academy of Performing Arts, Graduate Berklee College of Music, experienced in touring, studio sessions, producing, writing, performing, teaching, and vocal rehabilitation. Played with many national and world reknown artists. Signed to Right Coast Records in 1996 and recorded a Jazz CD for TVT records. Toured with Courtny Love as her personal voice therpaist. Recommended by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Carly Simon for voice rehabilitaion and performance. Performed for private parties held by Aerosmith staff. Performed for private party for Kennedy family, and benefit for inner city children held by the Mayor of Boston. Recorded several movie soundtracks, tv soundtrack, and jingles for Universal Studios and Heavy Hitters in NYC. Played with players from Boston Symphony, and Boston Pops, appeared and sang song track for FOX TV, NBC, ABC, CBS. Done many gigs and studio sessions with David Brown from Billy Joel Band, John Troy from Hall and Oates/ Bonnie Raitt, Dave Maddox from Paul McCartny Band, Loui Rossi/ Aretha Franklin Band, the late and wonderful Herb Pomeroy etc.. Have given voice lessons to Foghat, Extreme, Mike Verge, Carly Simon, Courtny Love, Liv Tyler's husband, as well as 100's of students of all ages and levels through out the U.S. LIVE ONLINE and in person. Certified vocal therapist under the late Dante Pavone.Played SXSW in Austin Texas Park West THeatre Chicago, Schubert Theatre Chicago, Drury Lane Theatre Chicago. Studio singer for Universal Studios Chicago. Strongest in Jazz R&B Blues but can cross over into rock and some country. Black Belt in Martial Arts, Master in Breathing and Physiology. oh and BTW the last photo is my son..playing drums at his own gig with his band.... all those lessons paid off since age 3

I was approached by Anthony Weller of TVT records. He said Phil Swanson,Tombonist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Dr. Loui Rossi, Sax player for Maynard Ferguson, Aretha Franklin, Herb Pomery Etc... were both in town (GLoucester,MA) for a weekend. He said...we HAVE TO RECORD SOME JAZZ! SO they let me chose every tune...and we cut a CD in 2 days. I lean toward the darker side of jazz. So when I called this tune and counted it off, I said no I'm counting 1/2 time. They were like HUH? THAT"S SLOOOOOWWWW! I said, yah I'm depressed right now...let's Go for it.

I wrote and recorded this for a T.V. show. They asked for something that was like Madonna meets Sade. (Hard assignment) I brought in my wonderfully gifted grammy award winning guitarist pal, Dave Brown, and he played the lead nylon string solo for me. I played the rest, and engineered. I think this is a soothing yet meloncholy song. This version isn't the mix the TV show got, so if you listen carefully I sneeze on a track and say a powerful one syllable curse word.F***. I thought leaving it in was funny.

Great Jump Blues song from the same session as Willow Weep For Me. I do some scat and improv. The sax player and I toward the end start feeding off each other when I decided to take it up a notch...this one is great live...always a crowd pleaser because I get the audience to sing along.

Studio session I was hired for. Greg Panfile songwriter hired David Brown (Grammy award guitarist composer etc) to produce and record his CD. Dave brought in the big guns. John Troy (tour credits include Bonnie Raitt Hall& Oates...and etc) Michael Bergman (we call him Pepe), Joey Scrima (drummer Sarah Vaughn tried to recruit at age 13) so this song was called Rose...or Love is like a Rose? All I know is Pepe played a gypsy accordion, Dave a nylon string, everyone else layed the mood playing and I sang this quirky melody and lyrics, that pushed me to stretch out. All in all I got nice reviews from magazines, and then a producer from NYC called and had me write and sing for her film and TV gigs.

This was the FIRST thing I recorded when I got my first protools 24 track. My engineering skills obviously stink on this one. I was learning the rig. I thew it up here for people hear, I did listen to the song, charted it, and then arranged and played my own version using my Alesis keyboard, and used a beat up old Sure58 with no wind screen, or compression or EQ. So I thought for my first attempt.. though it's muddy and bass heavy, my mom liked it as a Xmas gift?

NEW AGE? I was asked by a start up independent film company to come up with a NEW AGE AMBIENT instrumental. THey didn't want it to sound to techno. THey wanted earthy sounds. I wrote this. THey use it for their logo when ever their films are played...a planet goes by and use part of this theme. I incorporated my Native American Heritage to play lots of native drums, and used my keyboard. I brought one of my favorite Classical Compers, CHOPIN into the theme. I'm quoting with my voice and piano a theme from one of his Nocturnes. Chopin's sexy....and PS my son ROCKS on drums...so I'd probably just ask him to play next time.

This is hillarious. I had a gig, and We were playing Lucinda Williams,"CAN"T LET GO" I had to suddenly learn slide guitar in 1 WEEK! I borought in my friend Dave Brown..(Google Him) I can't even go into who he is! And we were havin coffee and I captured some footage with my cell phone.

SO here's part 2. Dave realizes I'm filming his hands because I CAN"T RETAIN THIS STUFF! However after 2 lessons with him I did learn the solo and rythm part to Lucinda Williams, "Can't Let Go" and played it live 2 weeks later. The following clip though will show my first day practicing and it is pretty BAD!

Since moving from East Coast, I now teach LIVE ONLINE and OFFER Instructional DVD's and uploadable personal training videos for singers and musicians.
I'm currently teaching lessons live online using skype video calls to anyone who can't travel to Sugarland.
I'm also available to teach in person in the area as well as I'm available for studio work and quality jazz & r&b gigs in the area.
I'm Now fully operational to teach voice lessons and warm ups live online using skype. AS well as can film and upload or mail DVD's of customized workouts for singers and performers who need to bujild their breathing and increase their vocal range.
Texas here I come! Driving from Boston! It'll will take a while to get settled and get a computer up and running, so I'm doing this now.Don't know my new address yet. Will be headed to SugarLand. Will be looking to record, write, gig, and learn a new territory.
