ABOUT

I'm looking for a death metal/grindcore band as a rhythm guitarist, I am not a Lead player at all, I don't have the ear for it, and I'm practically hardwired to a rhythm mindset as I am self-taught. I have some knowledge of using a DAW although I am not at all a producer/engineer, just learned how to use Reaper for ease of guitar recording and tone chasing. I am hoping to find or form a band where I can finally scratch that itch for extreme metal. My email Is Kortcornbread g mail if you're interested.

Death, Pestilence, Ripping Corpse, Repulsion, Metallica, Carcass/Exhumed, Cannibal Corpse, Megadeth, Morbid Angel, Terrorizer, Impetigo, Suicide Silence, DeadGuy, The Doors, Slipknot '99, Obituary, Slayer, Cryptic Slaughter, Sepultura, Nocturnus, Nirvana, Obscurity, Malevolent Creation, Athiest, Asphyx, Sanguisugabogg, Korn, Ozzy/Sabbath, Rush, D.R.I., Ministry, Today is The Day, Exhorder, Hendrix, Cynic,

Human Remains, Sulaco/Lethargy, Dystopia, and Burnt by the Sun are all influences in the sense id like to have a similar sound to what they had going on (kind of like mathgrind/mathcore with a heavy death tint)
side note, I'm very open to other sounds, a style like Deaths Leporsy/Spiritual Healing or Ripping Corpse is just as appealing.

I have mostly 7 String guitars with a Randall Half stack. I don't really want to play bass but if it comes to it I do have a 5 string with a bass amp as well.
