I have been playing bass guitar for about 20+ years I was originally trained on percussion and classical guitar before that. Bought by first bass in high school and that was it for me. I have played in about a half a dozen bands. All where actively gigging out, but in my early 30's I was cramped down with building a career and haven't played out in a few years. Now that i'm settling down in my profession, I have a lot more time. I'm 36 years old, stable ride, plenty of gear. I'm really looking to get back into playing music of any kind. I have played everything from Rock, R&B, Blues, Alt, Folk, Funk...even played in a hip hop group that sounded like the roots. I'm really laid back and can pull out some flare if needed, but I know what not to play is just as important as holding a steady groove. I'm all about quality before quantity. I unfortunately can't sing with a damn. Just wasn't my forte, but I'll still attempt some minor background if needed. I don't use any drugs, but I do have a few drinks here and there. fine with a sober practices to get stuff done. I'm even been building a decent little bedroom studio in my house so I can record some stuff.... Hit me up if you're interested. Thanks, Ryan

A pretty wide variety. I dig, a lot of the old Motown classics to some Funk and Pop. Grew up playing a lot of blues and classic/rock and alternative. Some my favorite modern bands are Carbon Leaf, Dispatch, Jamiroquai, Jamie Cullum, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, G. Love and Special Sauce. O.A.R, Brothers Strut... If it sounds good...I'll play it.
