Influences

Mr. Blotto; GD/ Dead/ Garcia Band; Little Feat; The Band, Delbert McClinton; Classic 60's/70's Rock, Blues, Contemporary Rock, Country, lots of dance tunes, some real oldie-goldies and R & B tunes, as well as "live field recordings" of my bands and others.
I like to play songs that people will dance to, groove to, and boogie to. I'm ready to jam within the structure of the song, as long as the leads are not too extended, or too loud. Being recently retired, I am freely available for, and open to opportunities to pursue music projects as my full-time avocation.

Members Of Band

Currently a member of Gray Rock Transit: a quartet band project performing Classic- and Southern Rock, R&B, pop and blues dance tunes. Always looking for a well-qualified lead singer to complete the ensemble..
I played cajon (box drum) with Second Wind and Friends until mid-2018 in their every-other-Wednesday "Open Jams" held at Jack's Seafood House in Chapel Hill. You'll likely also find me many Tuesdays at The Blue Note Grill's Blues Open Jam, on a drum set. My earlier project with The No-Stars at The Tavern at Markham in Durham disbanded with the passing of the co-founder of the band. We all enjoyed nearly eight years of fun-and-frolic !
My earlier local band memberships include The Beagles, Country Bob and The Ruckus, Dented Fenders, Secret Drive, Downhome Groove, The Televandalists, The Mudflaps, and The Naked Café.
