Seeking female vocalist 30-50ish age range for acoustic duo to collaborate with on covers and originals and to play out. Looking to start with some open mics then hopefully segue into gigs once or twice a month. Looking for Novi, Brighton, Howell, South Lyon area mainly for logistical and ease of commitment reasons. Looking to establish individual/slightly edgy style and not be a stereotypical coffeehouse duo. Covers of pop, rock, country, etc. Pretty much all genres except show tunes, worship, lounge, or standards. Must be able to commit to weekly practice for 2-3 hours at least once a week in South Lyon vicinity. I do very light background vocals at best so unfortunately it wouldn't be a duet/harmony/vocal duo situation. Not looking for a professional but need to definitely have some solid vocal ability.
