I've played in several bands ranging from classic rock/top 40 covers to original alternative rock and blues based jam genres. I listen to lots of different styles but have my preferences as to which I prefer to actually play. My dream would be to find enough talented people to put together a band with clav/B3, a couple horns, solid drummer and a guitarist with good enough feel to fill the empty spaces with cool licks or to lay back when appropriate. I suppose the style would work itself out depending on what everyone brings to the table, but as of now I envision a Rustic Overtones type deal where the band is capable of some straight ahead rock switching to some funk or R&B and back again. With the right people involved, there would be no limits
